Vendor Compliance Checklist

Why the need for a vendor compliance checklist?

Nadine West customer orders have doubled since the beginning of the year.  We intend to double again in the next few months.  In order to keep up with customer orders, we need your help.

Partners and vendors who are able to help us keep up with demand by following this checklist will earn lots of good karma, as well as larger and larger orders.  If you are unable to comply because of circumstances out of your control, we totally understand.  We’ll still be grateful for your help and partnership, but we’ll have to shift future orders to more flexible vendors who are able to comply.

We’ll be scheduling calls and meetings with every vendor, however, you can always email inventory@nadinewest.com if you have any immediate questions.

How do I prepare clothing prior to shipping to Nadine West?

  1. Remove: remove all hangers from clothing.
  2. Tag: Affix clothing with manufacturer tags or supplied Nadine West hang tags. If tag is not already applied during the manufacturing process, clothing can be tagged on the sewn-in label. If you run out, please email us at inventory@nadinewest.com.
  3. Fold: fold clothing neatly, with the sewn-in label visible, if possible.
  4. Sort: sort clothing into bundles. Clothing of the same Item SKU (style+size+color combination) should be bagged together.  For example, Small, black tank tops would be in a bundle, separate from Medium, black tank tops of the same style.
  5. Rebag: place each bundle into one large bag (or more than one, if needed) to keep them separate from other bundles.

What if I can’t process clothing like you want?

Let us know what you can do and we’ll work with you. If you can ship one style per box, that still helps.

How do I prepare jewelry prior to shipping to Nadine West?

  1. Remove: remove all jewelry from factory packaging (including bubble wrap).
  2. Bag: place each jewelry piece in its own pink mesh bags. Email inventory@nadinewest.com if you run out of pink mesh bags.
  3. Sort: combine jewelry of the same style+color+metal into bundles. All jewelry should be kept in separate bundles to simplify restocking at the warehouse.
  4. Repackage: place jewelry inside whatever bubble wrapping needed to arrive safely to our warehouse.

Is there anything I need to do on the packing slip?

  1. Always include our provided ‘Nadine West Order ID’ on the special notes or instructions. This way, our inventory receiving team can identify incoming shipments easily.
  2. Please itemize the quantities of every size sent per each Item Sku.
  3. Include all items on packing slip even if it is a partial shipment. Mark the quantities shipped or not shipped accordingly.
